About the role
Bybit is seeking a product expert to manage the architecture of our global fiat fund systems. You will focus on building scalable infrastructure for deposits, settlements, and reconciliation to support our international digital asset platform. In this capacity, you will own the strategic design and execution of fund flow architecture, ensuring that all monetary movements are reliable, transparent, and aligned with business objectives. The role requires you to act as the central point of ownership for all deposit, withdrawal, refund, and settlement processes, driving consistency across regions and products. You will be responsible for transforming complex operational requirements into structured product logic that supports both rapid scaling and strict regulatory adherence. Your work will directly influence the integrity of financial reporting and the efficiency of cross-border settlements across our digital asset services. By leading the standardization of fund operations, you will enable the broader organization to deliver predictable and auditable financial outcomes.

What you'll do
- Manage the full lifecycle of fund flows, including deposits, withdrawals, refunds, and settlement cycles, ensuring end-to-end traceability and accuracy.
- Create standardized workflows and rule-based engines to replace fragmented fund logic and eliminate inconsistent manual interventions.
- Develop enterprise-level reconciliation systems that handle internal and channel data, exception routing, and SLA tracking with high reliability.
- Improve auto-reconciliation rates and shorten settlement windows to provide timely support for audits and management reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams to balance system scalability with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead automation projects that minimize manual operational tasks, reduce error rates, and free resources for higher-value initiatives.
- Define product specifications for fund movement controls, ensuring that rules around limits, routing, and validation are clearly documented and implemented correctly.
- Partner with data and analytics teams to design reporting dashboards that provide actionable insights into fund performance and exception trends.
- Act as the domain expert during incident investigations, translating operational symptoms into technical hypotheses and corrective actions.
- Establish product metrics and success criteria for fund operations, monitoring outcomes to drive continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, providing a foundational understanding of financial systems and data analysis.
- Minimum 5 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on payments, clearing, settlement, or financial infrastructure, demonstrating a track record of handling complex financial workflows.
- Deep knowledge of fund lifecycle management, settlement logic, and reconciliation mechanisms, including how these processes interact across banking and digital asset channels.
- Proven ability to analyze complex requirements and lead cross-functional implementation, translating stakeholder needs into coherent product and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and decision-making, enabling you to query operational data, validate results, and support troubleshooting efforts.
- Strong ability to translate manual operational processes into automated system rules, ensuring that procedures are robust, repeatable, and scalable.
- Experience working under regulatory constraints and compliance expectations, understanding how controls and documentation affect product decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, allowing you to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and align diverse teams around shared objectives.

- Prior experience at a crypto exchange, payment institution, or clearing house, where you have handled high-volume fund operations in regulated environments.
- Experience building reconciliation or settlement platforms from scratch or leading major system refactors that improved reliability or performance.
