The position is based in Watertown, Massachusetts. It requires a substantial time investment, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. The compensation package reflects the scope and responsibility of the role, offering an annual salary range of $180,000 to $220,000. What You'll Do

You will set the analytical agenda that guides growth initiatives and identifies emerging risks across the member base. A core part of the role involves designing experiments and data products that uncover patterns in customer behavior and operational performance. You will translate complex analytical findings into clear narratives that help stakeholders reach shared understanding and make coordinated decisions.

A major responsibility is building and maintaining scalable methods that transform messy, real-world inputs into reliable, trusted outputs. You will partner directly with senior leaders to align on metrics, priorities, and execution plans, ensuring that analytics drive action across the organization. You will also champion robust quality checks and validation processes to ensure insights remain honest, accurate, and useful.

Additional duties include translating analytical results into compelling narratives that can be acted upon at scale and defining the long-term roadmap for analytics tools and the operating model of the Center of Excellence. You will be the primary architect of how analytics is practiced and perceived within the company.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must command advanced analytical methods as they apply to strategic business questions. You bring a minimum of 10 years of experience developing insights in complex, dynamic environments. Your communication skills must be exceptional, allowing you to present technical material clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences in writing and in conversation.

You operate effectively in ambiguous situations without sacrificing rigorous standards for accuracy, logic, and thoroughness. You think in systems, connecting data from different domains to form a coherent picture of business performance. You are disciplined, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Nice to Have

Prior experience in retail, consumer packaged goods, or subscription-based business models is preferred. This background can provide valuable context for interpreting member behavior and driving strategic decisions.

Skills & Tools

You are highly proficient in SQL and comfortable working with programming languages such as Python or R. You use data visualization tools like Tableau to explore data and present findings. You are experienced with standard presentation and productivity tools to communicate results and manage projects effectively.
