About the role
You are relentlessly focused on the integrity and accuracy of data as it is shared with carriers, ensuring that when Businessolver clients' employees need access to their benefits, the information is available and correct. You own the end-to-end validation of raw materials review and confirmation that system configuration strictly adheres to requirements documentation without deviation. You act as a DOER whose to-do list lives in fear, driving daily work processes for Annual Enrollment, New Services Implementation, and acquisitions or divestitures system builds. You establish and follow global process documentation while promptly reporting any discrepancies you uncover in that documentation to keep projects on track. You maintain precise capacity and productivity measurements through diligent task updates and review open tasks every day to prioritize work and escalate issues when appropriate. You partner daily with necessary internal stakeholders associated with current projects or tasks to resolve blockers quickly. You actively participate in training sessions related to new system functionality and processes to ensure your configurations remain accurate and up to date.

- Establish and follow global process documentation and report any discrepancies in documentation to internal teams for correction.
- Daily touch-base with necessary internal partners associated with current projects or tasks to align on priorities and timelines.
- Accurately maintain capacity and productivity measurements through utilization of task updates in tracking tools.
- Review open tasks daily; prioritize work based on urgency and impact and escalate when appropriate to keep projects moving.
- Address any escalated or global issues related to system build for clients, diagnosing root causes and collaborating on solutions.
- Active participation in training sessions related to new system functionality and processes to build deeper expertise and share knowledge.
- Translate complex requirements documentation into precise system configurations that support client benefit delivery.
- Verify data mappings and field configurations to ensure carrier interfaces operate smoothly and meet compliance standards.
- Monitor configuration changes across multiple systems to prevent conflicts and maintain consistency in benefit setups.
- Assist in creating test scenarios and validating fixes to ensure system builds meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by documenting best practices and suggesting process refinements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and refine configuration workflows over time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience as the minimum educational baseline for the role.
- 2+ years benefits administration plan configuration experience in a SaaS or enterprise environment.
- Strong SQL, MS Access and strong Excel skills preferred as core technical capabilities.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret data sets and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage projects and multiple priorities at the same time without losing focus on details.
- Keen attention to detail - you must pay crazy attention to detail without going crazy under pressure.
- Be a creative thinker who does not settle and always looks for a better way to accomplish configuration tasks.
- Ability to compare large data sets, organize data logically, and summarize findings for stakeholder consumption.
- Working knowledge of business processes, system development principles, and process improvements specific to benefits technology.
- Proficient in gathering business requirements, documenting process flows, and creating use cases that guide configuration work.
- Experience with and strong understanding of various technologies and platforms relevant to benefits administration systems.
- Capacity to work remotely in a distributed team while maintaining collaboration and communication standards.
- Willingness to adhere to Businessolver policies and compliance standards in all configuration activities.
