(Senior / Staff) Product Manager
Job description
About the role
At Bunch, we are pioneering the foundational infrastructure for private markets by seamlessly integrating secure data, AI-driven workflows, and expert services. In this pivotal role, you will lead a Growth squad dedicated to penetrating the upmarket segment, particularly targeting larger venture capital and private equity funds. Your primary focus will be on steering new product initiatives from the initial concept phase through to successful revenue generation.
Key facts
What you'll do

- Work closely with the Commercial team to identify and engage key upmarket accounts through discovery calls, product demonstrations, and scoping for proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives.
- Analyze and identify common challenges faced by upmarket clients, prioritizing solutions that promise the highest return on investment.
- Utilize your team and AI tools to quickly prototype solutions, delivering tangible products to prospective clients within a matter of weeks or months.
- Design and implement experiments, swiftly discontinuing those that do not yield results while scaling successful initiatives.
- Transform successful prototypes into paid POCs, ultimately converting them into signed contracts and new product offerings.
- Take an active role in leading a small engineering team, functioning as a hands-on product manager throughout the process.
- Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving and agile methodologies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of transforming ambiguous, zero-to-one challenges into successful, revenue-generating products.
- Demonstrated capability to operate at a senior or staff level, effectively leading a squad with minimal external guidance.
- Strong background in fintech, with a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding financial services, regulations, and the needs of sophisticated buyers.
- A commercial mindset, adept at framing discussions in terms of business cases and ROI, and capable of engaging with high-level stakeholders such as fund CFOs or COOs.
- Proficiency in utilizing AI tools like Claude or Lovable for research, analysis, and rapid prototyping.
- An experimental mindset, thriving in high-risk, high-reward environments, and skilled in designing cost-effective and rapid testing methodologies.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the dynamics of small teams, preferring to tackle challenging problems within a focused group rather than managing a larger team on a predetermined roadmap.

- Familiarity with private markets, including venture capital, private equity, fund administration, or experience working within a general partner (GP) or fund.
- Background in growth, new ventures, or incubation functions, providing insights into innovative product development strategies.
