You will own the complete enterprise sales cycle from initial discovery to closed won, hunting large strategic global clients and positioning Brex as the intelligent finance platform for their growth. You will leverage your personal network and creative prospecting methods to identify and engage decision makers across complex enterprises. This role requires you to act as a trusted advisor, solving complex business challenges with innovative solutions that drive measurable value for the customer. You will articulate the unique value proposition of Brex's Financial Operating System, aligning products like corporate cards, expense management, procurement, and travel to specific customer needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and translate feedback into impactful product improvements. Your success will directly contribute to Brex's revenue growth and reinforce its position with top-tier customers across the world.

What you'll do
- Deal Cycle Management: Leverage your personal network alongside strategic, creative prospecting methods in order to identify decision makers and break into Enterprise customers. Own full sales cycle including everything from prospecting, discovery, demo, deal administration, and closing.
- Pipeline Management: Act with urgency to build and manage a robust Enterprise sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads and opportunities. Proactively organize and autonomously prioritize opportunities at different stages of the funnel.
- Value Selling: Expertly articulate the unique value proposition of Brex's products and services, utilizing strategic thinking to align solutions with customer needs and solve complex business challenges. Leverage case studies, competitive intel, and independent research to position Brex as a premier product.
- Problem Solving: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, addressing their pain points and delivering innovative solutions that drive business growth/value. Adapt and thrive in ambiguity regardless of customer size or industry.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales Development, Product, Legal, Deal Desk, Underwriting, and Pre-Sales to ensure a seamless customer experience. Quickly create impactful change to our product by communicating customer needs and pain points and drive alignment internally.
- Forecasting and Pipeline Development: Consistently forecast pipeline and revenue while identifying and mitigating risks in the sales funnel to maintain high conversion rates.
- Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders to expand Brex's reach and influence within target enterprise accounts.
- Commercial Acumen: Evaluate contract terms and commercial variables to ensure alignment with Brex's objectives while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Process Optimization: Continuously refine sales methodologies and tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness in enterprise selling motions.
- Thought Leadership: Represent Brex at industry events and customer engagements, reinforcing the brand as a leader in finance and spend management.
- Metrics Ownership: Take ownership of key performance indicators, including pipeline coverage, win rates, and deal velocity, to drive continuous improvement.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans for target enterprise customers to drive adoption, expansion, and long-term success.
Requirements
- 6+ years of B2B SAAS closing experience in a net-new logo acquisition environment.
- Experience closing deals with F1000 customers and Large Enterprise Organizations with a minimum 1,000 global employee base.
- Familiarity selling SAAS products/solutions and effectively communicating the value/ROI.
- Consistent quota attainment and track record of being a top 10% performer.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-threaded enterprise deals.
- Strong understanding of financial services and the needs of modern enterprises.
- Proven ability to operate independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Willingness to travel in accordance with business needs, including occasional overnight trips.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in the financial services or fintech industry.
- Experience with CRM and sales automation tools such as Salesforce.
- Background in consultative or solution selling methodologies.
Practical notes
- This role requires a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, specifically Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work may be available as a perk.
- Travel may be required, including occasional overnight trips.
