About the role

Braze is actively searching for a technical expert who will join our Expert Services team based in Sydney to help drive customer success at scale. In this role, you will be responsible for designing highly tailored integrations and comprehensive data strategies that enable clients to unlock the full potential of the Braze platform across their entire user lifecycle. You will operate at the intersection of technical depth and business empathy, ensuring that complex customer visions are transformed into robust and executable plans. What you'll do

• Orchestrate end-to-end technical projects, overseeing the lifecycle from initial scoping and architecture design through to deployment and ongoing optimization.
• Translate ambiguous business objectives into precise technical requirements and actionable implementation roadmaps for clients.
• Architect and produce detailed technical documentation for custom integrations, data flows, and solution designs that meet stringent security and compliance benchmarks.
• Partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to align on best practices and guarantee high-fidelity platform instrumentation.
• Investigate and resolve sophisticated technical escalations, offering strategic direction and decisive support throughout critical onboarding and renewal phases.
• Research and integrate emerging artificial intelligence and machine learning methodologies to enhance both internal operational workflows and external educational content.
• Mentor junior team members by providing clear technical guidance and fostering a culture of rigorous problem-solving and documentation.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for key strategic accounts, ensuring their long-term success and satisfaction with the Braze platform.
• Evaluate existing technical landscapes and identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and performance improvement.
• Contribute to the development of internal playbooks and frameworks that standardize best practices for complex implementation scenarios.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or possess equivalent practical experience that demonstrates a comparable level of expertise.
• Bring a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in technical roles such as Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, Implementation Consultant, or Technical Account Manager.
• Accumulate a minimum of 3 years of experience managing complex customer environments that involve SaaS platforms, API integrations, mobile applications, and programming concepts.
• Consistently demonstrate the ability to explain intricate technical concepts in a manner that is understandable to both technical specialists and business stakeholders.
• Show a proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the capacity to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Adhere to a meticulous approach to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all technical deliverables and communications.
• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate workshops, negotiations, and technical reviews with diverse audiences.

• Demonstrate proficiency in leveraging AI tools to accelerate workflows and build operational efficiencies within the implementation lifecycle.
