What you'll do
- Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and other creative team members to understand project objectives and deliver high-quality video content that meets those goals.
- Edit raw footage into polished final products, ensuring a seamless flow and engaging storytelling that captivates our audience.
- Utilize advanced video editing software and tools to enhance visual and audio elements, ensuring high production standards are maintained.
- Implement feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve video content, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in your editing approach.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in video editing to continuously improve your skills and contribute innovative ideas to the team.
- Create motion graphics and visual effects as needed to enhance storytelling and add a professional touch to the videos.
- Ensure all video content is optimized for various platforms, including social media, websites, and other digital channels, maximizing reach and engagement.
- Maintain organized project files and archives, ensuring easy access for future reference and collaboration.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas that align with our content strategy and audience interests.
- Assist in developing video concepts and storyboards, providing input that reflects your understanding of audience preferences and market trends.
- Train and mentor junior editors and interns, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative learning environment within the team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across various projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of video production processes, including pre-production, shooting, and post-production workflows.
- Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to craft engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output that meets brand standards and project specifications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with color grading, sound design, and motion graphics is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their video content requirements, ensuring optimized delivery for each channel.
- A degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- A passion for video content creation and a keen eye for visual aesthetics and trends.

- Experience in live streaming and event coverage, providing a broader skill set for various video projects.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for video content, enhancing discoverability and engagement.
- Familiarity with animation software such as After Effects or Blender, adding an extra dimension to your editing capabilities.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced agency environment, adapting quickly to changing project demands.
