What you'll do

• Design intake steps that organize messy financial information into clear, executable paths for automated processing.
• Build core components using specific products such as Liquid, Core Lightning, Green interface, and Jade systems to ensure compatibility.
• Review transaction logic to enforce strict adherence to financial rules and prevent edge case failures in production.
• Ship features that enable secure transfers, leveraging the robustness of Blockstream products like Jade for signing and broadcasting.
• Partner with cryptography experts to align implementation details with protocol standards and avoid consensus level defects.
• Coordinate testing routines that validate performance across multiple environments, operating systems, and network conditions.
• Document configurations and procedures so operations teams can manage deployments independently without constant oversight.
• Improve pipelines by observing real world usage metrics and adapting interface behaviors to reduce friction for end users.
• Collaborate with product teams to refine user stories and ensure that the technical solutions match business objectives.
• Implement monitoring and alerting strategies to detect anomalies in transaction flows or system health as early as possible.
• Maintain high standards for code quality through rigorous review processes that catch subtle bugs before they reach mainnet.
• Support the maintenance of existing integrations while new capabilities are developed, ensuring continuity for all customers.
• Engage with community feedback to identify pain points and drive improvements in the overall user experience.

Requirements

• Three years of professional experience with financial systems is mandatory to understand the complexity of the domain.
• Hands on familiarity with Bitcoin protocols and related software is required for effective contribution to the codebase.
• Understanding of how to work with security sensitive codebases is essential to prevent vulnerabilities and maintain trust.
• Strict respect for legal boundaries and avoidance of shipping restricted features is required in every jurisdiction.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical specifications without ambiguity is necessary for precise execution.
• Strong attention to detail is required when dealing with cryptographic keys, transaction IDs, and monetary values.
• Experience working in a remote setting with asynchronous communication is expected for smooth collaboration.
• Commitment to following established processes and procedures without cutting corners on quality or compliance.
