As a , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing projects that are essential to our operations in the industrial coatings sector. This position demands a blend of technical expertise and project management skills, as you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.

What you'll do
- Lead the planning and execution of engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with Blastone's strategic goals.
- Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring that all requirements are met.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates, to facilitate efficient project execution.
- Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize engineering principles and best practices to solve complex technical problems that may arise during project execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track and within budget.
- Prepare and present project documentation, including reports, proposals, and technical specifications, to both internal teams and external clients.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols throughout all phases of the project.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and project team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure necessary materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
- Participate in post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, gather feedback, and implement lessons learned for future projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or a similar role within the industrial or construction sectors.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control processes in engineering projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently when required.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP).
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices in engineering projects.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles related to project execution.
- Previous experience in the coatings or industrial manufacturing industry.
