About the role
Blackbird is seeking a Revenue & Restaurant Ops Contractor to own the end to end execution of revenue initiatives specifically focused on restaurant partners and the loyalty programs that power them. You will design repeatable workflows that turn strategic concepts into operational reality across the partner ecosystem. This role requires you to develop performance analysis and reporting that delivers clear, actionable insights to stakeholders. You will implement lightweight systems for hardware and inventory tracking as well as reconciliation to ensure accuracy. You will contribute directly to CRM optimization, data integrity, and the accuracy of reporting that guides key decisions. The ideal candidate will support and execute a variety of ad hoc initiatives designed to advance new revenue opportunities. You will act as a bridge between data, systems, and on restaurant operations to ensure smooth activation.

What you'll do
Design and operationalize repeatable workflows for loyalty and revenue generating programs that can scale across restaurant partners.
Develop performance analysis and reporting that deliver clear, actionable insights and highlight opportunities for growth.
Implement lightweight systems for hardware and inventory tracking and reconciliation to maintain accurate records.
Contribute to CRM optimization, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in reporting across all restaurant relationships.
Support and execute ad hoc initiatives to advance new revenue opportunities as they emerge.
Build and manage systems that enable efficient operations while maintaining a high standard of data quality.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership to translate strategic objectives into operational plans.
Execute detailed analysis on restaurant performance to identify trends and drive informed decision making.
Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining organization and clarity in communication.
Act as an operational backbone for loyalty program initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and monitoring.
Provide technical support for data driven projects using tools that may include SQL, Python, or scripting languages.
Maintain strong data hygiene standards to support accurate reporting and long term system reliability.
Identify friction points in partner workflows and propose practical solutions to improve efficiency.
Act as a resource for restaurant teams by helping them understand and leverage new tools and processes.
Requirements
2-4 years of experience in operations, revenue ops, analytics, or a related field is required for this role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn messy data into clear insights are essential for success in this position.
Comfort working with Claude Code, SQL, CRMs where HubSpot is strongly preferred, Google Sheets, and reporting tools such as Metabase is required.
Technically savvy individuals with coding or scripting experience in SQL, Python, JavaScript or similar languages are considered a strong plus.
Highly organized and detail oriented individuals who can manage multiple workstreams without dropping quality are required.
The ability to both build systems and execute within them is essential for this contract position.
Thrive in a fast paced startup environment where you must be proactive, resourceful, and willing to grab the ball when needed.
You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for this role at this time.
You must be available to work from the New York location consistently and adhere to project timelines as required.
Nice to have
Prior experience working with restaurants or hospitality operators will help you hit the ground running.
Experience with loyalty programs, rewards systems, or partner funded promotions is preferred.
Revenue operations or systems building experience at a startup is highly valued.
Hardware, inventory, or logistics coordination experience will be viewed favorably.
Practical notes
This is a 6-month contract position based out of the New York office.
Potential for extension exists contingent upon project needs and individual performance.
The target hourly rate range is $35-$45 per hour in compliance with local pay transparency regulations.
