About the role
This role owns the design and execution of a two-tier partnership strategy that makes $FLY valuable across the dining and lifestyle ecosystem. You will architect category strategies in travel, delivery, retail, fintech, and lifestyle to uncover whitespace opportunities and define clear prioritization frameworks. You will build robust financial models that evaluate LTV impact, contribution margin, and breakage rates to guide portfolio optimization across premium and volume partners. You will own the end-to-end deal flow, from sourcing and negotiating to structuring and closing partnerships that expand the $FLY network. You will develop scalable playbooks and frameworks that balance brand positioning with revenue generation and seamless implementation. You will own partnership P&L management, tracking redemption costs, ROI, and margin targets to ensure sustainable growth. You will translate complex data into executive-ready analyses and recommendations that drive resource allocation and strategic decisions. You will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and finance to integrate partners efficiently and launch offers that delight users.

What you'll do
- Design category strategies across travel, delivery, retail, fintech, and lifestyle verticals to identify whitespace opportunities and define prioritization frameworks.
- Build financial models to evaluate partnership opportunities, including LTV impact, contribution margin analysis, and portfolio optimization across partner tiers.
- Develop scalable partnership playbooks and deal frameworks that balance brand positioning with revenue generation.
- Source, negotiate, and close partnerships with companies that expand the $FLY network.
- Structure revenue share, commission, and co-marketing deals that hit margin targets while scaling user value.
- Build relationships with platforms that enable rapid implementation and mutual growth.
- Own partnership P&L tracking, including contribution margins, redemption costs, breakage rates, and ROI across the portfolio.
- Create executive-ready analyses and recommendations for partnership prioritization and resource allocation.
- Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and finance to integrate and launch partners efficiently.
- Define and manage end-to-end deal flow to cement partnerships and drive execution.
- Partner with finance to model profitability scenarios and optimize the mix of premium and volume partnerships.
- Establish metrics frameworks to measure partner performance, user acquisition, and lifetime value impact.
- Identify and prioritize new verticals and partners based on market trends, competitive analysis and strategic fit.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Translate strategic objectives into tactical plans that partners can execute and measure.
Requirements
- 2-4 years in banking or strategy/BD roles at investment banking institutions or high growth start ups.
- Proven ability to structure complex problems, build financial models, and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong commercial instincts - you understand unit economics, can structure win-win deals, and think in terms of portfolio optimization.
- Track record of moving from analysis to execution - comfortable building frameworks and closing deals.
- Scrappy executor who thrives in ambiguity and can operate with minimal oversight.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex concepts into easy to understand executive slides.
- Comfortable working with large data sets and financial models to support decision making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated team player who aligns with the company's values and talent principles.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship for this role.
