What you'll do

• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems and components to identify defects or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to establish quality benchmarks and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports that highlight findings, trends, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on quality control processes and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the organization.
• Participate in internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure that materials and components meet quality requirements before they are integrated into production.
• Utilize statistical analysis tools to monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
• Address quality-related issues promptly and effectively, working closely with relevant teams to implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, corrective action plans, and compliance records.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality management practices to ensure Bkimechanical remains at the forefront of quality assurance.
• Assist in the development of project-specific quality plans that align with client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the mechanical or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 or similar standards.
• Proficiency in using quality control tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey quality-related information to diverse stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems, components, and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar credential is a plus.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to the mechanical industry.
• Familiarity with software tools for quality management and data analysis.
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a quality assurance team.
