What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, providing insights that drive decision-making processes.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial models to evaluate business performance and support strategic initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends and variances to inform management of potential risks and opportunities.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
• Support the preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders, summarizing financial insights and recommendations.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results against budgeted figures, providing explanations for discrepancies.
• Maintain and enhance financial databases and reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Assist in the development of internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in finance, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and insights as required.
• Engage in special projects as assigned, which may include mergers and acquisitions, financial system upgrades, or process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with financial reporting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all financial deliverables.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to the industry.

Nice to have
