What you'll do
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier candidates across various roles within the organization.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices for recruitment and selection processes.
- Conduct thorough screening and interviewing of candidates to ensure a strong fit for both the role and the company culture.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization and providing necessary training and resources.

- Analyze employee feedback and engagement survey results to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans.

- Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and comply with legal regulations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on talent acquisition and employee engagement.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in Canada.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools, including applicant tracking systems and performance management platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Nice to have
- Certification from a recognized HR professional body (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-CP) is an asset.
- Experience in developing and implementing training programs or workshops.
- Familiarity with employee engagement survey tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices within the workplace.
- Previous experience in a consulting or advisory role within HR is a plus.
