About the role
The Binance Accelerator Program (BAP) provides a 3-6 month internship opportunity tailored for Early Career talent, enabling them to gain direct experience within the digital assets industry. Within this framework, the role is specifically centered on establishing robust observability, automation, and AIOps foundations for designated services. The position is heavily focused on delivering tangible outputs, including the development of reusable assets such as dashboards, alerting rules, and runbooks that drive continuous product improvement. You will leverage logs, metrics, and traces to diagnose and understand issues occurring in live production environments. A core responsibility involves transforming recurring support pain points into concrete product enhancements, which may include copy improvements, self-service interface adjustments, and workflow optimizations. The role provides hands-on experience with MLOps and AIOps fundamentals, covering deployment procedures, rollback strategies, and drift monitoring techniques. Furthermore, you will be tasked with building or extending agent skills to facilitate automation and improve operational efficiency, thereby directly contributing to the reliability and user experience of Binance products.
What you'll do
Investigate production incidents by conducting detailed analysis of logs, metrics, and traces to pinpoint root causes and contributing factors.
Design and construct dashboards that deliver clear visibility into service health, performance trends, and critical operational metrics for assigned systems.
Define and implement alerting strategies that enable the early detection of anomalies, service outages, and performance degradations.
Draft, maintain, and optimize runbooks to standardize incident response procedures and ensure consistent handling of operational events.
Translate recurring support issues into actionable product improvement opportunities by proposing copy updates, self-service flows, and workflow optimizations.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of MLOps and AIOps practices, including deployment pipelines, rollback mechanisms, and drift detection processes.
Create and extend agent skills to automate routine tasks, enhance monitoring capabilities, and improve support responsiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that deliverables align with product goals, security standards, and established operational best practices.
Document all configurations, decisions, and procedures to guarantee clarity, maintainability, and effective knowledge transfer.
Present findings, dashboards, and recommendations to stakeholders through clear communication and concise reporting.
Take full ownership of the observability feature lifecycle, encompassing initial design, deployment, iterative feedback, and continuous refinement.
Requirements
You must be currently enrolled in a university program or have recently graduated to be eligible for participation in the Binance Accelerator Program.
You must possess strong analytical skills necessary for interpreting logs, metrics, and traces to troubleshoot complex issues within production systems.
You must demonstrate the ability to convert operational data into actionable product improvements that enhance user experience and support efficiency.
You must have a solid understanding of MLOps and AIOps basics, including concepts related to deployment, rollback, and drift monitoring.
You must be capable of building or extending agent skills to support automation, observability, and operational workflows.
You must be able to work within the Asia time zone and align with Binance operational schedules and on-call responsibilities.
