In this on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA, you will focus on promoting and expanding the adoption of our flagship product, the UNITY Fetal Risk Screen, among obstetric healthcare providers. Your primary responsibility will be to engage directly with OBGYN clinics, maternal-fetal medicine practices, and other relevant healthcare providers to increase awareness, understanding, and utilization of our testing services. Key facts
What you'll do
- Actively engage with obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and genetic counselors to promote the benefits of the UNITY Fetal Risk Screen, emphasizing its clinical value and unique features.
- Build and nurture strong, professional relationships with healthcare providers, clinic administrators, and key opinion leaders within your designated geographic region.
- Identify new business opportunities by prospecting within your assigned territory, including clinics, hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and other healthcare facilities involved in prenatal care.
- Support existing clients by providing ongoing education, answering questions, and ensuring the successful adoption and utilization of our diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement strategic plans tailored to your region to increase product awareness and market penetration, aligning with company goals and regional healthcare needs.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial outreach, product demonstrations, addressing provider concerns, to closing sales and onboarding new clients.
- Represent BillionToOne at local industry events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase our products, network with healthcare professionals, and gather market intelligence.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and clinical support, to relay feedback from providers, improve customer experience, and refine sales strategies.
- Educate healthcare providers on the clinical advantages of our tests, including how they support patient care and improve prenatal screening accuracy.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools to ensure effective follow-up and reporting.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, regulatory updates, and advancements in molecular diagnostics and genetic testing relevant to prenatal screening.
- Support the company's mission and values by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to improving healthcare outcomes for expectant mothers and their babies.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of outside sales experience within the healthcare industry, particularly targeting providers in your geographic region.
- Proven success in sales roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets and building long-term client relationships.
- Strong communication skills, capable of delivering compelling presentations and educational sessions to diverse healthcare audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and operate independently.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards, ensuring compliance in all interactions.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and closing deals.
- Ability to travel locally within the Los Angeles area as needed to meet with clients, attend events, and conduct product demonstrations.
- A professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills, capable of establishing trust and credibility with healthcare providers.
- Demonstrated understanding of the healthcare landscape, especially in women's health, prenatal care, or genetic testing, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with sales software, CRM tools, and basic data analysis to track progress and optimize outreach efforts.
