About the role
BILL is a mature public company listed on the NYSE under the ticker BILL. Our equity program includes RSUs, PSUs, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and outstanding stock options. We are seeking a Stock Plan Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of our equity programs on Morgan Stanley E*TRADE Equity Edge Online. This role reports to the Stock Administration Manager and operates within a structured SOX control framework. You will partner with Payroll, Legal, HR, Compensation, Accounting, and Financial Reporting to ensure accurate and timely execution of equity activities.
The position is based in the United States and is a full-time role. The base compensation for this role is $132,800.00, with a demonstrated history of 3.5 years in equity lifecycle administration. You will be instrumental in driving accuracy, maintaining compliance, and directly shaping the employee experience through day to day decisions.
What You Will Do
You will handle the intake and processing of new equity grants, entering them into Morgan Stanley E*TRADE Equity Edge Online. This includes managing the entire equity lifecycle from grants through vesting, releases, and terminations. You will process daily stock option exercises, covering same-day sales, sell-to-cover, and cash transactions, including oversight of 10b5-1 plan trades. Confirmation of cash proceeds and tax withholding is part of this responsibility.
You will manage Release on Acceleration events for RSUs and PSUs, performing pre-release tax and income reconciliations with Payroll, validating sandbox tax files, and preparing release approval files. You will administer the ESPP program, monitoring IRS $25K share limits, tracking contributions, and processing semi-annual purchases along with valuation and true-up activities. Monthly reconciliation of the ESPP tracker to the general ledger will be required.
Processing terminations, leaves of absence, and rehires will involve entering termination dates, generating closing statements, and adjusting vesting schedules as appropriate. You will initiate share issuance and transfers through Computershare, maintaining the DWAC control log and supporting reconciliation with transfer agent activity.
Reconciliations, reporting, and compliance form a core part of the role. You will execute and document SOX key controls across the equity cycle, including grant input reviews, release reconciliations, and cash/bank reconciliations for exercise and release proceeds. Preparation of monthly stock-based compensation reporting support, including ASC 718 expense reports and journal entry support, will be required. You will deliver recurring reports to Payroll, Tax, Accounting, and Financial Reporting, handling W-2 income for ISO/ESPP dispositions, 1099-NEC income, Section 6039 reporting, and annual director statements.
Support for quarterly SOC 1 evaluations and year end close deliverables such as EPS support, 10-Q/10-K share data, evergreen increases, and S-8 support will be provided.
Requirements
You hold a minimum of 3.5 years of hands on experience in equity lifecycle administration within public markets. You are proficient in using Morgan Stanley E*TRADE Equity Edge Online for daily transaction processing. Strong ability to manage reconciliations between payroll systems and equity records is essential. You adhere to SOX control testing discipline and understand the importance of internal controls in equity processing. Effective coordination with HR, Payroll, Legal, Accounting, and Financial Reporting teams is required.

Experience with insider trading policies and trading window management is beneficial.
