About the role
The Account Manager at Bigblue is responsible for cultivating deep, long-term relationships with the company's most strategic European merchants, ensuring their success and retention within the portfolio. You will serve as the primary point of contact for key decision-makers, navigating both executive and operational layers to maintain alignment and trust. In this capacity, you will proactively identify growth levers, challenge existing assumptions, and guide merchants toward maximizing the value of Bigblue's fulfillment platform. You will act as an internal advocate, translating merchant feedback into actionable insights that influence product strategy and service enhancements across the Atlas ecosystem. This role demands a balance of commercial acumen and operational rigor, as you manage complex, undefined paths while balancing immediate client needs against long-term investment priorities. - Orchestrate end-to-end relationship management with key European merchants, coordinating cross-functional support to resolve complex operational and strategic challenges.
- Architect bespoke operational roadmaps for each merchant, enabling brands to scale efficiently within the seven European warehouses managed by the Atlas WMS.
- Translate nuanced merchant feedback into structured insights that directly inform product development, process optimization, and enhancements to the Atlas platform.
- Analyze behavioral and transactional data to uncover trends, identifying both positive patterns to amplify and negative signals requiring corrective action.
- Act as the central point of contact for high-stake stakeholders, balancing executive communication with detailed operational follow-through across Madrid, Paris, and London teams.
- Champion environmental responsibility by optimizing order flows and warehouse utilization to reduce the carbon footprint of the seven European facilities.
- Navigate ambiguity and undefined strategic paths, making informed tradeoffs between immediate customer demands and long-term portfolio investment.
- Conduct periodic account health audits to surface expansion opportunities, increase network utilization, and strengthen the overall merchant portfolio.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to remove growth barriers, ensuring that clients can fully leverage Bigblue's capabilities across the e-commerce lifecycle.
- Drive adoption of new Atlas features and tools, supporting merchants in unlocking greater efficiency and scalability within their fulfillment operations.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to validate hypotheses, test hypotheses, and refine solutions based on real-world merchant behavior in the European market.
- Own complex portfolio metrics, maintaining accountability even when strategic variables are initially unclear or poorly defined.
- Support the design and implementation of long-term growth initiatives, aligning merchant success with Bigblue's broader revenue and retention goals.
- Represent the voice of the merchant internally, ensuring that strategic decisions reflect evolving expectations across the European customer base.
Requirements
- Bring a minimum of three years of experience managing key accounts within the e-commerce or logistics sectors, demonstrating a track record of growth and retention.
- Communicate effectively with executive-level stakeholders while remaining equally comfortable engaging in detailed operational discussions with implementation teams.
- Thrive in environments where strategic direction may be initially vague, navigating ambiguity and defining concrete steps toward clarity.
- Manage multiple high-stake relationships simultaneously, respecting cultural nuances and time zone differences across European markets.
- Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, using data to inform decisions, prioritize initiatives, and validate the impact of operational changes.
- Exhibit ownership and accountability, taking responsibility for end-to-end outcomes even when work spans multiple teams and regions.

Practical notes
This is a full-time position based in Madrid, with a compensation package ranging from 55,000€ to 65,000€.
