We are actively seeking a dynamic leader to fill the critical role of Area Sales Manager. This position is responsible for two key properties in Arlington. The successful candidate will own the total revenue performance for these hotels. They will drive rooms and catering merchandising efforts. The role requires translating brand standards into actionable sales strategies. Champions must protect commercial objectives while supporting the hotels' distinct missions. Constant presence with guests and internal teams is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities
The Area Sales Manager will own the complete revenue performance for two hotels located in Arlington, Virginia. Daily decisions directly shape guest perception and influence sales outcomes across both properties. The manager will craft tailored proposals that align customer needs with property capabilities. They will execute market analysis to identify new segments and refine pricing strategies. The goal is to achieve higher occupancy and optimize room yields.
This role involves driving guest bookings through targeted outreach and consultative selling. The manager will coordinate with event teams to secure group business. They will build partnerships with local businesses to create collaborative programs. These initiatives boost awareness and drive traffic to both hotels. Tracking detailed performance metrics is crucial. The manager will adjust tactics to remain competitive in the market.
Championing service recovery and guest feedback is a core duty. This focus strengthens loyalty and encourages repeat business. The manager will guide sales initiatives with the director. They will ensure alignment with strategic priorities and quality service benchmarks.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship for this position. A minimum of three years in hotel sales or a related role is mandatory. Previous experience managing multiple properties is highly valued. A deep understanding of the hospitality industry is required. Strong leadership and communication skills are non-negotiable.
About the Location and Compensation
The position is based in Arlington, Virginia, within the Crystal City area. This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive compensation package. The salary for this role is $96,228 per year. Benefits are provided in accordance with company policy.
