We are currently seeking a driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. This role is based within our operations involving two specific properties. You will be responsible for guest room and catering sales in these environments. Your primary mission is to drive revenue while building long-term, value-oriented client relationships. You will translate strategic hotel objectives into tailored commercial solutions. A key part of this position involves generating new business, managing key accounts, and negotiating contracts. Success in this role requires a focus on meeting and exceeding financial goals. You will ensure a consistent, high-level service experience aligned with our company standards.
The Area Sales Manager will develop and implement sales strategies for guest accommodations and catering services. You will analyze buying committee behaviors and travel demand patterns. This analysis will inform account plans designed to protect revenue across the portfolio. You will coordinate forecasting and pipeline reviews closely. This ensures that sales activities align with property performance and broader financial targets. Contract negotiation is a core function. You will manage corporate client agreements while maintaining rate integrity and parity across all booking channels. Collaboration with marketing and revenue management teams is essential. You will help refine positioning for The Watermark Hotel, The Hay-Adams Hotel, and Perch Putt when strategic opportunities arise. You will champion our service standards daily. This commitment ensures a consistent guest experience and builds trust with clients and partners. Tracking deal progression and pipeline health within established systems is mandatory. This practice allows for the prioritization of high-value opportunities.

Requirements
- Hold a minimum of three years of hotel sales experience within the last four years.
- Possess authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Demonstrate successful management of key accounts for the relevant properties.
- Create proposals and contracts that adhere to company standards.

- Prior experience in group sales, meetings, or conventions.
