You will own the full VIP lifecycle for high-value players in your designated Southwest territory, driving acquisition, retention, and long-term loyalty. You will act as Betr's primary point of contact for VIPs in California and Texas, shaping player perception through every interaction. This role requires you to discover hidden talent pools and convert high-intent players into committed Betr advocates. You will analyze behavioral data to tailor offers, communication cadence, and game selection for each VIP cohort. You will build and maintain a scalable outreach system that balances efficiency with a premium, human touch. You will collaborate closely with product and marketing to ensure VIP feedback directly influences feature development and campaign design. You will forecast performance, document play patterns, and report on metrics that prove the value of your VIP program. Ultimately, you will be responsible for turning regional player engagement into a durable competitive advantage for Betr.

What you'll do
Identify and qualify high-potential players across California and Texas using data signals and manual research.
Design and execute a structured onboarding sequence that introduces VIP benefits and reinforces Betr's premium positioning.
Develop deep player personas that inform tailored communication strategies and game recommendations.
Coordinate with marketing to align VIP campaigns with broader product launches and promotional calendars.
Monitor real-time player activity to trigger timely interventions during critical engagement moments.
Establish clear escalation paths for VIP issues, ensuring problems are resolved before they impact loyalty.
Maintain detailed documentation of player preferences, limits, and history to enable consistent handoffs.
Partner with risk and compliance to implement safeguards that protect both the player and the brand.
Track lifetime value trends to justify investments in VIP-specific resources and tooling.
Present quarterly performance reviews that highlight wins, gaps, and opportunities for market expansion.
Experiment with new touchpoints such as in-app messages, email sequences, and social check-ins to deepen relationships.
Synthesize qualitative player feedback into actionable insights for product, content, and UX teams.
Champion a player-obsessed mindset across cross-functional partners by sharing stories and learnings.
Own end-to-end responsibility for a book of VIPs, from first bet to long-term retention and advocacy.
Set the standard for VIP service in your market by documenting best practices and mentoring future team members.
Requirements
You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
You must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship at this time.
You must reside in or be willing to relocate to California or Texas.
You must have at least three years of experience in customer success, account management, or a related player-facing role.
You must have at least one year of experience managing high-value segments or enterprise accounts.
You must demonstrate a track record of interpreting data to drive engagement and retention decisions.
You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift based on market conditions.
You must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
You must be comfortable using CRMs, spreadsheets, and productivity suites to manage complex workflows.
You must understand the fundamentals of responsible gaming and be able to apply them in day-to-day decisions.
You must be comfortable aligning with brand, legal, and compliance guidelines while pursuing growth initiatives.
You must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
You must be proactive in seeking feedback and iterating on your approach based on performance results.
You must be willing to travel within your assigned region for meetings and industry events when appropriate.
Nice to have
Experience in iGaming, sportsbook, or real money gaming environments.
Familiarity with player segmentation models and predictive scoring techniques.
Knowledge of CRM platforms commonly used in gaming and high-touch service businesses.
Experience building and maintaining referral or ambassador programs.
Background in data analysis or experimentation with A/B testing frameworks.
History of mentoring junior team members or leading small initiatives.
