What you'll do
Architect and oversee the implementation of secure, scalable multi-tenant containerized database environments using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Lead the optimization of Oracle 19c database performance, tuning PL/SQL code and configurations to meet demanding service level agreements.
Spearhead the final phases of client migrations from on-premises data centers to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, enforcing strict version standardization.
Design and manage network security frameworks, including next-generation firewall policies and IPSec VPN connectivity between hybrid environments.
Ensure high availability and resilience for on-premises infrastructure while expanding and hardening the cloud-native architecture.
Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery strategies utilizing Oracle native replication to achieve zero data loss objectives.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver complex technical customizations and integration solutions for enterprise applications.
Evaluate emerging automation opportunities to replace manual administrative tasks and reduce operational complexity across the technology stack.
Serve as the primary technical consultant for customers, articulating sophisticated infrastructure concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Champion the adoption of Oracle Linux and standardized application server configurations to streamline operations and support models.
Analyze infrastructure metrics and logs to proactively identify risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Document architectural decisions and operational procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability.
Mentor junior engineers by providing guidance on best practices for database administration and cloud infrastructure design.

Requirements
Possess a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Oracle Database Administration and Systems Engineering roles.
Demonstrate expert-level competence with Oracle 19c database management, including Multitenancy Container Database (CDB) and Pluggable Database (PDB) architectures.
Showcase advanced skills in Oracle APEX development and maintenance, along with deep experience in legacy Oracle Forms and Reports technologies.
Hold proven hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services, specifically Virtual Cloud Networks, Load Balancers, and Object Storage.
Have extensive background administering Oracle Linux and Windows Server operating systems in enterprise-class environments.
Exhibit a thorough understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewall rule design and the configuration of IPSec VPN tunnels.
Bring a history of supporting large-scale ERP systems, with direct experience managing complex integrations and custom interfaces.
Operate effectively in a fully remote work setting, maintaining productivity and communication without direct supervision.
