Key facts

What you'll do

• Design and develop custom applications and enhancements for SAP Business One, ensuring they align with business requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and end-users, to gather and analyze requirements for new features and improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP Business One, providing timely support to users and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure that developed solutions meet quality standards and function as intended.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and training materials for end-users.
• Provide training and support to users on new functionalities and enhancements, ensuring they are well-equipped to utilize the system effectively.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP Business One features and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve existing solutions and processes.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities, contributing to the overall project timeline and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of SAP Business One with other systems and applications within the organization.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Assist in data migration activities, ensuring accurate and secure transfer of information during system upgrades or implementations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Business One development, including experience with SDK, DI API, and UI API.
• Strong understanding of business processes and best practices related to ERP systems, particularly in finance, sales, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, SQL, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of database management.
• Experience with report generation tools, such as Crystal Reports or SAP Business One Analytics, is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Business One HANA and cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
• Knowledge of integration techniques with third-party applications and services.
• Previous experience in a consulting role, particularly within the ERP domain.
