What you'll do

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to enhance product reliability and safety.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions to resolve them promptly.
• Perform regular audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
• Analyze inspection data to identify trends and areas for improvement, presenting findings to management for strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure that materials meet quality specifications and resolve any discrepancies that may arise.
• Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, quality metrics, and compliance status for internal and external stakeholders.
• Train and mentor junior quality control staff on best practices and quality assurance methodologies.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure that Bamboohr remains at the forefront of quality assurance.
• Assist in the development of quality-related documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Support the implementation of quality management systems and tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in conducting inspections, audits, and testing procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey quality-related information clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• A relevant degree or certification in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in the food and beverage industry or similar sectors.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality improvement techniques.
• Certification from a recognized quality assurance body (e.g., ASQ, CQI).
• Familiarity with risk management and hazard analysis critical control points (HACCP).
• Multilingual abilities, particularly in Greek or other European languages, are advantageous.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
• Experience with quality management software and tools for tracking and analyzing quality metrics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with CAD software and design tools may be beneficial for product inspections.

• This position is based in Limassol, Cyprus, and may require occasional travel to supplier sites or other facilities.
• The role may involve working in various environments, including production floors and laboratories.
