Our Commodity & Energy Trading practice is looking for experienced Managers to join the team. Our clients rely on our deep industry expertise to navigate a trading landscape defined by price volatility, increasingly complex value chains, and evolving regulatory demands. We support them in defining and executing trading strategies, assessing and enhancing business capabilities, driving technology and digital transformation, and managing risk and regulatory compliance effectively.
What you will be doing
As part of our team, you will work closely with clients on the following types of challenging, high-impact engagements. You will design future state for trading operations, aligning book structure with commercial goals and regulatory expectations. You will champion capability building so traders master tools, workflows, and risk governance under volatile market conditions. You will orchestrate intake to delivery flow, mapping data journeys and control points across trading platforms and risk systems. You will define target operating models that clarify roles, authority, and decision rights for trading desks and support functions. You will shape technology roadmaps, ensuring controls, data integrity, and user experience support disciplined trade execution. You will build reusable frameworks for scenario analysis, stress testing, and what-if planning across portfolios and markets. You will review outcomes and controls rigorously, translating audit findings and regulatory signals into practical process fixes. You will partner with compliance and risk owners to embed standards, testing, and evidence into daily trading workflows.
What you should bring
You must bring 3 years of experience in energy commodities trading or advisory for this role. You must understand US oil and petrochemicals markets, including product definitions, trading venues, and logistics constraints. You must know how trading systems, risk tools, and data platforms support capture, validation, and reporting of trades. You must handle engagement planning, stakeholder mapping, and clear documentation under tight timelines.
Nice to have
Experience with transport logistics, storage constraints, or regional price differentials in energy markets.
Compensation details
Base compensation is 140000 USD. Target bonus is 30000 USD. Long term incentive is 60000 USD. Overall OTE is 230000 USD.
