What you'll do
Design and develop internal web applications that serve the needs of employees across Bandwidth's organization.
Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional software solutions.
Maintain and optimize existing internal tools, ensuring they remain reliable and performant for daily use by staff.
Write clean, well-structured code following established coding standards and contributing to a shared codebase that others can understand.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments quickly to minimize disruption and downtime for internal users.
Participate actively in code reviews to ensure code quality, share technical knowledge, and help teammates grow their skills.
Create and maintain technical documentation that describes application architecture, setup procedures, and usage guidelines for internal stakeholders.
Support the continuous integration and deployment pipeline, helping automate repetitive tasks and improve the overall development workflow.
Work with various data sources and APIs to integrate internal systems and create a smoother flow of information between tools.
Collect feedback from internal application users and iterate on features to improve the overall experience and usability of each tool.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required for this position.
Experience building internal tools or business applications using modern web technologies and frameworks is expected.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices and version control systems such as Git is necessary.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on assigned projects and tasks.
Good written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with non-technical stakeholders and understanding their needs clearly.
Demonstrated ability to write maintainable, well-tested code and follow established coding conventions across a team environment.
Experience with debugging, profiling, and resolving application issues in a production or staging environment is important.
Comfort working in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
Experience with agile development methodologies and participating in regular sprint planning and retrospective meetings.

Experience with containerization platforms such as Docker or Kubernetes is considered a strong advantage.
