Key facts
What you'll do
- Translate a variety of healthcare documents, including patient information leaflets, consent forms, medical records, and clinical trial materials, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify terminology and ensure the translations meet industry standards.
- Review and edit translations completed by other team members, providing constructive feedback to enhance overall quality.
- Maintain a glossary of medical terms and phrases to ensure consistency across all translations.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, share insights, and address any challenges encountered during the translation process.
- Adhere to strict deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all translated materials.
- Conduct research on medical terminology and healthcare practices in both the source and target languages to enhance translation quality.

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of professional translation experience, specifically in the healthcare sector.
- Fluency in at least two languages, with a strong command of medical terminology in both languages.
- Proven experience in translating complex medical documents with a high degree of accuracy.
- Familiarity with translation software and tools, such as SDL Trados or MemoQ.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.

- Certification from a recognized translation association, such as the American Translators Association (ATA) or equivalent.
