About the role
This position holds end to end ownership of the digital user experience from initial request through final delivery for healthcare clients. You will shape user flows that directly affect patient access and support across diverse populations in major cities and remote locations. Design decisions you make will translate complex medical requirements into clear, accessible interfaces that serve every intended user. You will own the entire design process, ensuring that each touchpoint aligns with both clinical accuracy and human centered clarity. Your work will define how users navigate intricate healthcare journeys while maintaining empathy for varied needs and contexts. You will act as the voice of the user, balancing strategic business goals with compassionate, inclusive design solutions. Design intuitive interfaces for complex healthcare workflows and client specifications, ensuring clarity at every step.
Collaborate with medical strategists to align research insights with commercial objectives and patient needs, creating focused design outcomes.
Refine interaction details to guarantee strict compliance with accessibility standards across all digital properties and touchpoints.
Partner with research teams to synthesize findings into coherent user journey maps, flows, and behavioral insights.
Translate strategic requirements into scalable design system components that remain consistent across markets and audience segments.
Test interactive prototypes with representative users to validate concepts, iterate quickly, and reduce implementation risks.
Guide visual language so brand expression remains distinct while supporting functional clarity and usability.
Prepare detailed design specifications that enable efficient development handoff and accurate implementation with minimal ambiguity.
Conduct ongoing analysis of design performance, using qualitative and quantitative signals to inform future improvements.
Champion design thinking within cross functional teams, fostering a shared understanding of user needs and constraints.
Ensure documentation is thorough and structured, supporting both current builds and future iterations of digital products.
Facilitate workshops and design sessions that align stakeholders, clarify requirements, and surface critical user needs.
Balance high level strategy with granular interaction details to deliver cohesive experiences across platforms and devices.
Act as a mentor to junior designers, sharing techniques, best practices, and methods for rigorous healthcare focused design.
Requirements
You must hold at least three years of professional experience in a relevant role within the industry, demonstrating consistent delivery of user centered designs.
A portfolio demonstrating work on healthcare or medical related projects is essential for consideration, with clear evidence of your process and impact.
Strong skills in design tools such as Figma or similar platforms are necessary for daily execution and collaboration with engineering teams.
The ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and meeting strict deadlines is required in a fast paced environment.
Effective communication skills enable clear articulation of design rationale to both specialists and stakeholders at various organizational levels.
You must be comfortable working within regulated environments where compliance, privacy, and accuracy are non negotiable priorities.
A proven track record of advocating for accessibility and inclusive practices throughout the design lifecycle is mandatory.
Nice to have
Experience with accessibility guidelines and inclusive design principles is preferred, showing measurable improvements in usability for diverse users.
