About the role
You will own the end to end management of complex healthcare advertising campaigns, ensuring strategy, execution, and reporting align with client objectives and regulatory standards. You will lead a team of Project Managers and Associate Project Managers, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management to ensure project success. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Medical, Advisory, and Marketing teams to translate business needs into actionable project plans. You will oversee multiple large scale projects or accounts simultaneously, balancing priorities, timelines, and deliverables without compromising quality. You will manage relationships with pharmaceutical advertising agencies, coordinating creative, media, and compliance activities seamlessly. You will implement rigorous governance frameworks, monitor risks, and drive issue resolution to keep projects on track and within scope. You will champion data informed decision making, using insights to optimize campaign performance and client outcomes. You will serve as the primary escalation point for project related matters, ensuring timely communication and alignment across all levels of the organization.

What you'll do
Orchestrate complex, multi channel healthcare advertising campaigns from initial brief to final delivery, maintaining strict adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks.
Lead and develop a high performing project management team, setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and driving professional growth.
Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured project plans, defining scope, objectives, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external pharmaceutical advertising agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.
Implement robust governance processes, including status reporting, milestone tracking, and issue escalation protocols.
Conduct regular reviews of project progress, identifying variances, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring successful delivery.
Champion compliance with industry regulations and internal standards across all project phases, mitigating potential risks proactively.
Leverage data and performance metrics to inform decision making, optimize campaign effectiveness, and demonstrate tangible client value.
Facilitate cross functional workshops and alignment sessions, fostering collaboration between Medical, Advisory, Marketing, and agency partners.
Own the end to end client experience, managing relationships, setting expectations, and ensuring consistent delivery of high quality outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating project workflows and implementing enhancements to increase efficiency and impact.
Provide strategic oversight for multiple concurrent projects, balancing competing priorities while maintaining focus on critical success factors.
Mentor junior project managers, sharing best practices, tools, and methodologies to elevate the overall capability of the team.
Act as a change agent within the organization, promoting agile ways of working and fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
Requirements
You must have a proven track record of managing large scale projects or campaigns in the pharmaceutical advertising industry.
You must possess strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing and developing Project Managers or Associate Project Managers.
You must demonstrate expertise in managing cross functional teams and aligning stakeholders towards shared objectives.
You must have deep knowledge of pharmaceutical advertising regulations and compliance requirements.
You must be highly proficient in project management tools and methodologies, with the ability to manage complex timelines and deliverables.
You must have exceptional communication and influencing skills, able to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
You must show a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
You must be willing to relocate to or work from our New York, NY office, with flexibility for hybrid arrangements as needed.
Nice to have
Experience within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector, with a focus on advertising or commercial excellence.
