What you'll do
- Define and lead the long-term product vision, portfolio strategy, and investment priorities for Fortary's institutional trading, lending, and liquidity platform to ensure strict alignment with overarching company objectives and growth strategy, utilizing a build, buy, partner approach to capability expansion.
- Partner directly with executive leadership to shape overarching product strategy, prioritize critical investments, and drive strategic initiatives that accelerate Fortary's institutional business objectives and market position.
- Execute complex cross-functional initiatives in lockstep with engineering, business development, marketing, and design teams to deliver measurable customer outcomes and concrete business value.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover institutional client needs, intricate market structure nuances, and competitive dynamics to identify compelling new market opportunities and refine product strategy accordingly.
- Establish and nurture trusted relationships with key institutional clients and strategic partners to validate product direction, strengthen market adoption, and uncover adjacent growth opportunities.
- Assume ownership of product commercialization in partnership with executive leadership and business development, including crafting go-to-market strategy, defining product positioning, addressing pricing considerations, and ensuring successful product launches.
- Analyze and benchmark institutional competitors specifically within trading, lending, and liquidity to distinctly position Fortary's offerings and provide clear differentiation to clients.
- Develop, scale, and maintain core platform capabilities across Fortary, guaranteeing a seamless, secure, and high-quality user experience for all institutional interactions.
- Drive rigorous prioritization and investment decisions across a spectrum of product initiatives, carefully balancing customer value, technical complexity, regulatory requirements, and projected commercial impact.
- Spearhead the development and scaling of secure, reliable, and high-performance institutional platform capabilities specifically across trading, lending, liquidity, and related essential services.
- Exhibit adaptability and ownership to execute effectively within a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities shift and rapid iteration is essential.
- Leverage deep expertise in institutional market structure to navigate workflow complexities and ensure product solutions solve real-world operational challenges.

Requirements
- Possess 10+ years of cumulative product management experience specifically within fintech, blockchain, cryptocurrency, or financial services sectors, demonstrating a consistent track record of delivering complex products.
- Hold prior business architect experience focused on building a product or platform path designed to support trading, lending, and liquidity operations within both traditional finance and digital asset environments.
- Bring direct experience in building trading, lending, and liquidity products targeted at institutional clients such as asset managers, hedge funds, banks, market makers, or fintech platforms.
- Demonstrate familiarity with institutional financial workflows, including but not limited to custody solutions, client onboarding procedures, compliance frameworks, regulatory reporting obligations, and trading and lending operational processes.
- Exhibit deep knowledge of trading systems and associated workflows, including execution mechanisms, liquidity access strategies, order management systems (OMS), and enterprise trading platforms.
- Show a proven ability to drive products through the full lifecycle from initial conception and discovery phases through to successful market launch and ongoing optimization.
- Have a history of successfully managing complex, cross-functional initiatives that require coordination across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills necessary to influence senior stakeholders and articulate sophisticated product strategies.
