Senior GenAI Data Scientist
Job description
About the role
Senior GenAI Data Scientist
AutoScout24 Group offers a career defined by constant motion and decisive impact. Professionals who thrive on building markets, not just operating within them, will find their element here. The company drives relentless innovation, reshaping customer experiences and transforming how the world moves. If your ambition aligns with this velocity, a role within their international community awaits. This position places your ideas at the center of the journey.
Position and Location
The role of Senior GenAI Data Scientist is a permanent opportunity based in Munich, Germany, or Toronto, Canada. You will join the Data Science organisation with a clear mandate to influence the next generation of AI solutions. Your work will directly support the company's market-leading position. The position is classified as permanent.
Core Responsibilities
You will design and build agentic GenAI systems using frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, and Atomic Agents. Translating complex product requirements into scalable, production-ready AI solutions is a primary focus. You will take ownership of the full lifecycle, ensuring systems are reliable and deliver high value.
Driving harness engineering practices is essential. You will establish agent-ready repositories, workflows, and standards that enable robust software engineering agents. These frameworks will govern how AI agents generate, test, maintain, and review code across all data products. Creating structured feedback loops is a critical part of this responsibility.
Developing and maintaining knowledge integration pipelines is another key duty. This includes RAG architectures, custom model fine-tuning, and vector search implementations. You will also set up grounding methods to ensure AI systems access the correct context. The goal is to deliver outputs that are consistently accurate and relevant.
You will also set up strong evaluation and monitoring frameworks. These systems will test agent behavior under dynamic conditions, including shifting market rules. Your work will catch drift early and prevent issues before code reaches real users. This requires a proactive approach to quality and performance.
Choreographing partner handoffs is part of the role. You will guide experiments as they graduate into shared production environments. This ensures seamless collaboration between teams and maintains momentum from development to deployment. Owning these integration pipelines connects models directly to live AutoScout24 services.
Required Expertise
The position demands fluency in modern model orchestration tools. LangChain, AutoGen, and Atomic Agents are required for effective system design. You must have a proven track record shaping data products. The role specifies three to five years of relevant experience in this domain.
A background in evaluation harness design is necessary. You should have experience testing agent behavior in complex scenarios. Knowledge of grounding techniques for context management is also mandatory. This ensures systems remain stable and dependable.
Application Details
This position represents a career where you can put your ideas in the driving seat. The role is permanent and open to locations in Munich or Toronto. For precise instructions and requirements, consult the official apply page.
