What you'll do

• Collaborate with department heads to develop financial models that support strategic initiatives and operational goals.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining the integrity of financial data.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis or financial management, preferably in an educational institution or non-profit organization.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, including advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and build effective relationships across departments.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to higher education institutions.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.

Nice to have

• Certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly desirable.
