What you'll do
- Lead the financial planning process, including the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.

- Collaborate with department heads to develop financial models that support strategic initiatives and operational goals.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining the integrity of financial data.

- Participate in strategic planning sessions, offering financial insights to inform decision-making processes.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial management within the higher education sector.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis or financial management, preferably in an educational institution or non-profit organization.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, including advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and build effective relationships across departments.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to higher education institutions.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
Nice to have
- Certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly desirable.
