What you'll do
- Design and implement comprehensive training programs focused on logistics tools and technologies to enhance team performance.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and seminars for logistics staff, ensuring they are proficient in using various logistics software and tools.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with the logistics management team to identify training needs and develop targeted content that addresses specific challenges within the organization.
- Create instructional materials, including manuals, guides, and e-learning modules, to support ongoing training initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in logistics technology, integrating new tools into training programs as appropriate.

- Monitor and report on training progress, providing insights to management on team performance and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive the necessary training to succeed in their roles.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning within the logistics team, encouraging staff to pursue professional development opportunities.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees who may require additional assistance in mastering logistics tools.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance the overall logistics strategy and contribute to the company's success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Education, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, with a focus on training or development.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a logistics or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of logistics software and tools, including inventory management systems, transportation management systems, and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training sessions or conferences as needed.
Nice to have
- Experience in e-learning development tools and platforms (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).
- Certification in training and development (e.g., ATD, CPTD) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other process improvement frameworks.
- Previous experience in a logistics role within a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in logistics operations.
