Director of Partner Solutions
Job description
About the role
Ascertain is seeking a Director of Partner Solutions to own the lifecycle of its most strategic healthcare partnerships, beginning with a concentrated focus on cardiology organizations. This position functions as a trusted operational advisor rather than a traditional customer success manager, guiding executive sponsors and practice leaders through the redesign of complex administrative workflows using AI-powered automation. You will steer customers from initial deployment through long-term adoption, optimization, and expansion, translating deep operational expertise into measurable financial and clinical outcomes. The role demands close collaboration with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Clinical Advisors to represent the customer voice, influence the product roadmap, and codify repeatable implementation playbooks. It is a high-visibility, cross-functional position requiring executive presence and the ability to navigate intricate healthcare delivery environments.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end success of strategic customer relationships from implementation kickoff through long-term adoption, renewal, and account growth for Ascertain's highest-priority healthcare partners.
- Lead complex, multi-phase implementations by guiding customers through deployment, change management, and the operational transformation required to adopt AI-driven automation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, physician champions, and practice administrators, helping them define and achieve quantifiable operational efficiency gains and financial ROI.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams to orchestrate exceptional customer experiences and channel field insights directly into product development priorities.
- Identify and drive expansion opportunities by uncovering novel use cases, validating ROI models, and enabling customers to maximize the value derived from Ascertain's platform across their organization.
- Build and refine scalable implementation playbooks, standardized methodologies, and best-practice frameworks that accelerate time-to-value and ensure repeatable success across specialty healthcare verticals.
- Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes within major health systems and large physician groups, aligning clinical, operational, IT, and compliance stakeholders around shared implementation goals.
- Translate intricate ambulatory workflows - including prior authorization, referral management, revenue cycle operations, scheduling, and clinical documentation - into configured AI agent solutions.
- Manage rigorous project governance structures, including steering committees, risk registers, and milestone tracking, to keep high-stakes deployments on schedule and within scope.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for strategic accounts, rapidly mobilizing internal resources to resolve blockers and maintain partner confidence.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and executive readouts that articulate realized value, adoption metrics, and strategic roadmaps for continued partnership deepening.
- Contribute to the evolution of Ascertain's professional services methodology, pricing models, and delivery capacity planning as the organization scales.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years leading enterprise healthcare implementations, post-sale delivery, customer success, or consulting engagements within a healthcare technology context.
- Deep, hands-on experience supporting cardiology physician groups or cardiovascular service lines, with fluency in the specialty's unique clinical and administrative nuances.
- Strong command of ambulatory practice operations, specifically encompassing prior authorization workflows, referral management, revenue cycle mechanics, patient scheduling, and clinical documentation processes.
- Demonstrated track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and cultivating trusted advisor relationships with healthcare executives, physician leaders, and operational directors.
- Practical experience configuring, integrating, or supporting major ambulatory EHR platforms such as athenaOne, eClinicalWorks, Epic, NextGen, or comparable systems.
- Exceptional communication, project leadership, and analytical problem-solving abilities, with proven resilience in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
- Willingness to travel periodically to customer sites for executive workshops, go-live support, and strategic planning sessions.
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

- Background in management consulting, professional services, or solution engineering within firms focused on healthcare operations or revenue cycle transformation.
- Familiarity with value-based care models, MIPS/MACRA reporting, or cardiology-specific quality registries (e.g., NCDR).
