What you'll do

- Oversee the management and optimization of the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of all systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and implement solutions that enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while meeting the technology needs of the organization.
- Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead the selection and implementation of new technologies, including software, hardware, and cloud services, to support business growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the IT team, encouraging continuous improvement and professional development.
- Monitor and analyze IT trends and emerging technologies to ensure Arctiq remains competitive in the industry.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing robust cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery plans.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to IT staff, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on IT performance, project status, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of leading technology initiatives in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise software solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and resource allocation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to IT.
Nice to have
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or CISSP would be advantageous.
- Experience in the technology consulting sector or with managed services providers.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Skills & tools

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
