What you'll do

• Lead the IT department in developing strategic plans that align with the overall business strategy and objectives of Arctiq.
• Oversee the management and optimization of the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of all systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and implement solutions that enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while meeting the technology needs of the organization.
• Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead the selection and implementation of new technologies, including software, hardware, and cloud services, to support business growth.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the IT team, encouraging continuous improvement and professional development.
• Monitor and analyze IT trends and emerging technologies to ensure Arctiq remains competitive in the industry.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
• Ensure data security and integrity by implementing robust cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery plans.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to IT staff, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on IT performance, project status, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of leading technology initiatives in a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise software solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management and resource allocation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to IT.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or CISSP would be advantageous.
• Experience in the technology consulting sector or with managed services providers.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Skills & tools

• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.

This role is based in Sacramento, California, and is a full-time position. The selected candidate will be expected to work on-site, with potential flexibility for remote work arrangements.
