- We believe being in the office provides more opportunities to come together and celebrate working with the exceptional people across Appian.&nbsp;</em></p> <p><strong><strong>What You'll Do</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Own the Backlog: </strong>Act as the dedicated product owner for a small team of engineers, owning and prioritizing the product development backlog to ensure high-quality software delivery with every iteration.</li> <li><strong>Drive Vision &amp; Roadmaps:</strong> Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand enterprise software product roadmaps, aligning team execution with the broader product vision and strategy.</li> <li><strong>Champion User Experience: </strong>Share ideas and gather rapid feedback on features through design sessions, mockups, UX reviews, and usability testing to guarantee user success prior to release.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate Cross-Functionally: </strong>Partner across engineering and business units to ensure smooth feature rollouts in an agile-led work environment.<br>&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Education: </strong>Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with a strong academic record.</li> <li><strong>Experience: </strong>Prior experience in a professional, academic, or technical setting (includes internships, research, capstones, or consistent part-time/full-time employment).</li> <li><strong>Communication: </strong>Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a professional environment.</li> <li>Proven fluency in AI and LLMs, encompassing both the strategic development of AI-powered platform capabilities and the hands-on application of AI tools to accelerate daily workflows.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><em>At this time, Appian will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.</em></p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and running sprint ceremonies.</li> <li>Previous professional work experience or multiple internships in a related field.</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership experience (e.g.
