What you'll do
- Design and implement customized business applications that prioritize process enhancement using Appian's innovative platform.

Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Economics, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field, with a strong academic record.
- Experience: Relevant experience in a professional, academic, or technical setting, including internships, research projects, or consistent employment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills appropriate for a professional environment.
- Clearance: Must hold an active, government-sponsored Top Secret clearance and be capable of working in a SCIF environment.
- Technical Aptitude: A solid grasp of computer systems and structural logic, or a strong interest in emerging technologies.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing complex business challenges, understanding organizational strategies, and translating them into effective process workflows.
- Willingness to travel: Up to 20% annually to support client engagements.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI and large language models, including both strategic development and practical applications to enhance workflows.
- Leadership experience in student organizations, clubs, or team activities.
- Basic understanding of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in business application development, process analysis, and project management methodologies.
- Experience with design thinking approaches and the integration of various business intelligence tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with clients effectively.
Practical notes
- Appian will not provide sponsorship for employment authorization for this role.

Base Salary Range
$90,000 - $95,000 USD
In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible for a government clearance differential. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including relevant experience and qualifications. A discretionary bonus may be awarded based on both individual and company performance.
