About the role
Partners engage with Appian to support customer outcomes. You will own the end-to-end experience of our global partner ecosystem, translating partner needs into clear strategies and actions. You will build the conditions for partners to succeed by setting direction, removing obstacles, and ensuring alignment with Appian's platform and goals. You will hire, coach, and hold partners accountable while driving retention and measurable delivery outcomes. Your leadership will provide clear context, making visible, predictable, and generous communication to partners. You will coordinate strategies between vendors and client organizations to standardize communication and enablement workflows. This role measures success through team outcomes, retention, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise environments. You will shape how executive-level interactions drive multi-regional partner programs and long-term customer value.
What you'll do
Orchestrate the end-to-end partner journey to ensure alignment with Appian's automation and AI platform strategy.
Translate complex platform capabilities into clear, actionable partner enablement programs that drive customer outcomes.
Build and lead a high-performing global partner team, focusing on hiring, coaching, and accountability for delivery.
Develop and execute a strategy for partner engagement that balances coordination, communication, and measurable results.
Champion the removal of obstacles that hinder partner success, ensuring efficient workflows and decision-making.
Leverage collaboration tools to standardize communication and enablement processes across distributed partner teams.
Analyze partner performance data to identify growth opportunities and refine programs for long-term success.
Cultivate executive-level relationships to navigate complex enterprise environments and expand strategic partnerships.
Design clear career pathways and development opportunities for partners and team members within corporate services.

Requirements
You must have US work authorization to perform this role in Raleigh, North Carolina.
You must be able to relocate to Raleigh, North Carolina, or secure local authorization to work in the area.
You must have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in enterprise environments.
You must demonstrate experience navigating complex enterprise environments and executive-level interactions.
You must have a history of making decisions that show clear consequences and learning from past results.
You must possess strong communication skills essential for managing multi-regional partner programs.
You must be comfortable using collaboration tools to standardize communication and enablement workflows.
You must be prepared to discuss two or three decision stories with numbers and lessons during the interview process.
