What you'll do

• Review and grade machine-generated translations between English and Ukrainian with a sharp eye for linguistic accuracy.
• Provide structured feedback to improve the performance of a major translation engine used by international clients.

Requirements

• Demonstrate native fluency in Ukrainian, ensuring that your linguistic intuition aligns with that of a proficient native speaker.
• Maintain a high level of proficiency in English, allowing you to understand and evaluate source texts with complete comprehension.
• Bring professional experience in a language-focused field such as translation, linguistics, or teaching to the evaluation process.

Practical notes

• Compensation is set at 3.00 USD per file.
• Each file requires 15 to 20 minutes of work, equating to an effective hourly rate of 9.00 to 12.00 USD based on your speed.
• You must select both Ukrainian and English as your languages during the application process to avoid automatic rejection.
• Successful applicants will receive an email from CrowdGen to set up an account and complete the onboarding process.

Practical notes

The engagement is structured as an independent contractor project based entirely in Ukraine, aligning with local regulations and operational requirements. You will work within the time zone applicable to the region, managing your schedule to meet project milestones. No business travel is required, as all tasks are completed remotely using digital tools and platforms provided by the project team. There are no specific visa requirements for this role given the independent contractor classification and location of work.
