In this role, you will serve as an independent contractor focused on the meticulous review of English and Italian machine-generated translations. Requirements

• You must be a native speaker of Italian to accurately judge the nuances and cultural context of the language.
• You must possess a high level of proficiency in English to effectively evaluate the translated content.
• You must have a professional background in linguistics, translation, or language instruction to ensure the necessary expertise.
• You must be able to distinguish between acceptable variations and critical errors in translation output.
• You must demonstrate a strong command of both source and target languages to perform the evaluations reliably.
• You must be detail-oriented to catch minor inconsistencies that could impact the overall quality.
• You must be comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule within the project framework.
• You must be available to complete the work from Italy as this role is specifically tied to the local market.

Practical notes

Compensation is set at 16.60 USD per file, with each file estimated to take 15 to 20 minutes. This equates to an effective hourly rate between 49.80 USD and 66.40 USD based on your speed.

You must select both Italian and English as your primary or additional languages during the application process to avoid automatic rejection.
