Senior Influencer Marketing Manager
Job description
About the role
You will architect and own the end to end content creator marketing program at Apify, translating product vision into a scalable creator engine. You will build and manage a global network of creators and influencers who speak accurately to developers, AI builders, and technical decision makers. You will treat creators as a hybrid production engine and distribution layer that feeds the entire marketing funnel with credible, high impact content. You will be the single point of ownership for creator driven results, deciding who we work with, what they create, how it performs, and how it ladders up to business outcomes. You will connect creator activity to product marketing, demand generation, and sales metrics so that every partnership is measurable and strategically aligned. You will operate at the intersection of performance marketing and community building, balancing creative freedom with brand consistency. You will continuously optimize the program based on data, emerging platform dynamics, and creator feedback.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Source, vet, and activate content creators and influencers across YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Reddit, podcasts, and other channels focused on developers, AI builders, and technical decision makers.
- Own the program structure including tiers, compensation models such as fixed fee, CPA, and hybrid approaches, onboarding workflows, and regional execution aligned to go to market priorities.
- Manage budgets, contracts, rates, and usage rights across all creator partnerships while ensuring legal and financial compliance.
- Own channel planning and forecasting, translating business targets into creator capacity and content calendars.
- Stay ahead of creator economy trends, platform shifts, emerging formats, and new talent, and bring that intelligence into how the program evolves.
- Work with Product Marketing to ensure creator content reflects Apify's product narrative and GTM priorities, positioning creators as an extension of the external voice.
- Partner with the Affiliate Manager so every creator relationship is structured, tiered, briefed, and tracked, with all partners working from the same content standards and creative direction.
- Collaborate with the Social Media team to align creator content with the organic content calendar and amplify top performing content across owned channels.
- Own program reporting including content velocity, ICP reach, messaging quality, creator attributed signups, and revenue influence.
- Own paid placements and UGC buying, routing top performing creator content into other channels for amplification.
- Brief creators on what to make and why, translating Apify's product positioning and campaign priorities into clear, actionable content direction.
- Track content velocity per creator including posting frequency, video performance, and whether they are active or dormant.
- Own quality control by ensuring messaging accuracy, feature representation, and ICP fit across all creator outputs.
- Build playbooks, creative frameworks, and repeatable systems so that content quality scales efficiently with volume.
- Source and negotiate competitive creator rates while balancing cost efficiency, reach, and strategic fit.
- Define and manage creator tier criteria, ensuring clear progression paths and incentives for high performers.
- Establish and monitor content distribution strategies to maximize organic and paid amplification of creator outputs.
- Implement testing frameworks for creator content formats, hooks, and calls to action to continuously improve performance.
- Coordinate cross functional reviews of creator content with legal, finance, and product teams to mitigate risk and align on messaging.
- Maintain a living repository of creator briefs, contracts, performance data, and best practices to enable scalability.
Requirements
- You have 6+ years in media buying, influencer marketing, or partnerships, ideally within a B2B, developer, gaming, digital product, or technical audience space, with proven experience building content creator or influencer programs.
- You have a sharp eye for what resonates with technical audiences, able to distinguish content that builds genuine credibility from content that reads as paid promotion.
- You have worked with audiences who are skeptical of marketing by default, and you have built programs that respect that skepticism rather than trying to override it.
- You understand that trust in developer communities is earned slowly and lost fast, and you know when to pull back on brand control to let a creator's voice lead.
- You understand performance marketing and how creator content connects to the media buying landscape and acquisition metrics.
- You are hands on with the creative work itself, writing briefs, building toolkits, and providing concrete creative direction.
- You have worked across functions before, collaborating effectively with paid media, product marketing, legal, and finance teams.
- You judge creator output by ICP reach and depth of resonance, not by impression counts alone.
- You are comfortable building from scratch in a new environment when there is no polished program to inherit.
