Key facts
What you'll do
Define and orchestrate the long-term brand vision to transform Apify into a global "distinctive brand" that people are proud to use, bridging the gap between our roots in web scraping and our future in AI to create a logical and emotionally compelling narrative.
Make Actors the industry-standard synonym for web automation tools, AI agents, and web scrapers, driving until the term "Actor" is as ubiquitous in our space as "container" is in DevOps.
Build and lead a high-impact brand team, shifting our approach from ad-hoc activities to a cohesive, strategic function that amplifies reach and consistency across all initiatives.
Conceptualize and drive the creation of new categories for Apify, executing bold campaigns such as viral community challenges, major partnership announcements, out-of-home advertisements, and digital PR pieces that move the market.
Act as a strategic partner to the senior team, defining the thought leadership narrative and identifying high-leverage speaking opportunities across podcasts, panels, and press to establish Apify as the category leader.
Work hand-in-hand with marketing leadership to synchronize brand awareness campaigns with performance acquisition efforts, aligning on messaging and timing so that Brand creates demand that Performance captures.
Collaborate closely with the PeopleOps team to shape employer branding, ensuring Apify is recognized as a top-tier destination for world-class engineering and GTM talent by showcasing authentic stories and impactful work.
Use data rigorously to prove the value of the brand, building frameworks to measure success through share of voice, sentiment analysis, direct traffic lift, and organic search volume to inform continuous optimization.
Own the creative vision and visual identity, setting standards and clearly briefing internal and external designers and video teams to produce standout work in a crowded marketplace.
Ensure all brand communication balances technical depth with clarity, turning complex capabilities such as MCP servers, headless browsers, and AI agents into exciting narratives for both engineers and C-level stakeholders.
Champion authenticity over corporate speak, maintaining transparency and avoiding empty buzzwords to build lasting trust with developers and technical audiences.
Partner cross-functionally with Content, Design, DevRel, and leadership to ensure the brand promise is consistently reflected in product messaging, documentation, and customer experiences.
Leverage global events and community moments to amplify Apify's presence, creating memorable experiences that reinforce our leadership in web data and automation.
Act as the primary voice of the brand in external communications, articulating the Apify story with energy, clarity, and strategic alignment to support growth and positioning goals.
