About the role
Vehicle Protection Sales Specialist
Position Overview
APCO Holdings operates a national network of partnerships with automotive dealerships. Together, we provide innovative protection products and services designed to improve the vehicle ownership experience. Our mission is to support partner growth while delivering value to end customers through a combination of industry knowledge, technology, and data insights. We assist dealers in strengthening finance and insurance results and in establishing long-term customer relationships.
We are currently seeking a Vehicle Protection Sales Specialist to join our Post Purchase Sales organization. In this capacity, you will communicate with current vehicle owners. You will achieve this by building trust, identifying specific needs, and guiding clients toward plans that align with their vehicles and driving behaviors. Your work will directly support the growth and strength of APCO's protection programs.
Core Responsibilities
You will confirm customer information and clarify coverage questions before beginning any discussion. This initial verification ensures efficient and accurate conversations. Creating tailored explanations is a central task. You will demonstrate how specific protection plans respond to different vehicle usage scenarios. You will map customer concerns to corresponding benefits. This process turns each objection into a clear and relevant protection option.
Coordination across teams is essential for success. You will manage the flow of information between departments to ensure accuracy regarding renewal dates and claim procedures. You will evaluate account history to recommend coverage modifications. These suggestions will match evolving driving patterns and needs. Immediate and precise record-keeping after every interaction is required. This practice maintains data integrity for future support. You will guide partner organizations through implementation steps. This ensures partners fully understand how new programs integrate with their existing operations.
Analyzing campaign results is part of the role. You will review outcomes and share observations. These insights help refine future outreach strategies and improve overall effectiveness.
Qualifications
To be considered, you must have authorization to work in the United States. You must also possess a reliable communication device. A minimum of three years of prior experience in sales or customer service is required. You must be capable of managing long call durations while maintaining professionalism and clarity. The ability to interpret written instructions and convert them into accurate actions is mandatory. Willingness to travel within your assigned region is necessary to support training and collaboration.
Professional Environment
This role operates within a collaborative framework. You will work alongside operations, technology, risk, finance, marketing, and sales teams. The environment requires adaptability and a commitment to measurable results. Success in this position contributes to the ongoing strength of APCO and the dealerships we serve.
