Executive Services Program Manager
Job description
About the role
Executive Services Program Manager, Protective Services at Anthropic
Anthropic seeks an Executive Services Program Manager to own the end to end flow for a personal security program inside the Global Safety, Intelligence and Security (GSIS) function. You will report to the Protective Service Senior Manager and operate under the direction of the Protective Services Lead. Your work will blend security awareness with program discipline, translating stakeholder needs into audit ready documentation while executing defined frameworks and escalating ambiguity. This role is focused on scaling GSIS operations within Anthropic's high growth, high scrutiny environment building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems for society wide benefit.
Location for this role is Boston, MA; Remote Friendly with travel required, San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA, New York City, NY, and Washington, DC. The position is full time and eligible for compensation between $193,200 and $236,000 per year.
What you will do
You will orchestrate intake activities for assigned GSIS sub domains, maintaining policy and procedure libraries strictly according to the framework set by your manager. This includes updating procedures, mapping controls, and flagging gaps without attempting to redefine scope independently.
You will design and distribute operational status reports that track GSIS metrics health on a recurring schedule, providing concise summaries of operational performance and emerging issues. You will build net new capabilities alongside senior management, owning the associated documentation and training assets while contributing to change management activities.
As the first point of contact for lower complexity security requests, you will resolve inquiries directly when answers are clear and route more complex cases upward with sufficient context. You will craft audit ready materials using existing templates, ensuring consistency and currency across documentation. You will partner on cross functional GSIS initiatives, owning defined workstreams without owning overall timelines or stakeholder communication.
When scope boundaries shift unexpectedly, you will surface decisions that require escalation above your level. You will also support security programs that span multiple locations, contributing to regional or multi site structures where needed.
Requirements
You must have program management experience in or adjacent to corporate or physical security, with an understanding of personal security operations and how such programs function in practice.
You must have contributed to personal security programs or capability builds in fast growing environments, including the creation of documentation, playbooks, or training materials that have been used operationally.
You must bring working familiarity with at least one or two GSIS disciplines and be able to expand your fluency across additional areas quickly. These may include intelligence analysis, threat assessment, investigations, executive protection, or security operations center work.
You must have written policies and procedures that remained solid under review, demonstrating that your work product has withstood examination and remained actionable.
You must communicate security topics clearly for both specialist and non specialist audiences, translating technical concepts into accessible language.
You must work reliably inside defined scope and know when to elevate issues rather than push forward independently.
You must care deeply about Anthropic's mission and the unique security considerations that arise when building frontier AI systems, including data protection, model safety, and regulatory landscapes.
Nice to have
Experience at AI focused organizations, frontier technology companies, or similarly high growth, high scrutiny environments where security complexity is significant.
Operational exposure to intelligence analysis, threat assessment, investigations, executive protection, or security operations center work, even if not as the primary owner.
Participation in security audits, compliance examinations, or due diligence processes, including preparation of evidence and response documentation.
Experience supporting security programs with a regional or multi site footprint, including coordination across locations and alignment with local requirements.
Skills and tools
This role relies on mastery of policy and procedure libraries, metrics and reporting frameworks, and audit ready documentation standards. You will collaborate closely with Protective Services teams and other stakeholders using standard business tools to track progress and manage workflows.
Practical notes
This role focuses on execution within defined frameworks, enabling the Protective Services function to scale efficiently. You will own specific workstreams, surface blockers early, and ensure that security processes remain auditable, reliable, and aligned with Anthropic's mission. Please , as job elements may evolve.
