GTM Engineer
Job description
About the role
You will own the end-to-end design and execution of AI adoption for the GTM organization at Anrok. This position sits at the intersection of software engineering and go-to-market strategy, where you will architect, code, and deploy intelligent systems that directly transform how revenue teams operate. You will build reusable prompt libraries and production-grade AI agents that automate high-impact workflows across the sales cycle. Your work will shift our GTM motion from human-capacity-first to AI-first, enabling scalable deal velocity and team productivity. You will define quality and security standards for LLM usage while integrating services like Claude into production pipelines that run reliably at scale. This is a hands-on role where you own the full lifecycle from writing code to deploying securely within our existing infrastructure. Your impact will be measured in reduced manual effort, faster deal cycles, and the ability to grow 3-4x without proportionally growing headcount.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design and execute the AI adoption strategy for the GTM team, identifying high-impact use cases for Claude and establishing quality and security standards for LLM usage.
- Write and maintain production code in Python and JavaScript that powers GTM automation workflows, including API integrations, data pipelines, and Claude-powered agents for lead qualification, call analysis, and proposal generation.
- Define and manage the deployment process for GTM-owned applications within a dedicated GCP project, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and security best practices for AI-powered services.
- Design and implement secure integrations between systems such as Salesforce, Gong, Zendesk, GCP, and the Claude API, building robust data pipelines with proper authentication, error handling, and retry logic.
- Architect end-to-end automation workflows that eliminate manual work across the sales cycle, including signal-based lead enrichment and routing, post-call processing, pipeline management, and RFP response generation.
- Create internal documentation, runbooks, and training content to drive team adoption, and conduct hands-on sessions that help teammates incorporate AI tools into their daily workflows.
- Stay current on AI capabilities, GCP services, and industry best practices, recommending new tools and approaches that keep Anrok at the frontier of GTM productivity.
- Own the full lifecycle of AI-driven GTM features from initial design through secure deployment, ensuring reliability, scalability, and measurable impact on revenue operations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions that leverage AI and automation for scalable growth.
- Continuously iterate on deployed workflows based on performance data, user feedback, and evolving AI capabilities to maximize efficiency and adoption.
Requirements
- 4 to 7+ years in a technical GTM, revenue operations, sales engineering, or software engineering role with hands-on experience building and deploying production systems.
- Strong coding skills in Python and/or JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code that can be owned in production.
- Proven experience deploying and managing services on GCP, including Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, or Pub/Sub, and a solid understanding of IAM, service accounts, and secure deployment patterns.
- Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs such as Claude in production environments, not just prompting, but integrating AI into reliable, monitored workflows with proper error handling and security controls.
- An owner's mindset with comfort in ambiguity, taking accountability from code to deployment to adoption, and defining scope with minimal direction.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments where you define scope and success criteria with limited guidance, prioritizing shipping functional automation over perfecting a single solution.
- Curiosity and motivation to learn new tools, with a track record of experimenting with AI in professional or personal contexts and building tangible solutions to real problems.
- Strong attention to security, authentication, and error handling when designing integrations and data pipelines that move sensitive business information.
Nice to have
- Experience contributing to documentation, training programs, or internal enablement initiatives that accelerate team adoption of new tools.
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance, billing systems, and the challenges faced by software companies operating in multiple jurisdictions.
