What you'll do

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Coastal Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in coastal engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in using engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, and GIS applications.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in numerical modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes related to coastal projects.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Coastal Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with coastal restoration projects and habitat enhancement initiatives.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green infrastructure solutions.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
