Key facts
What you'll do
- Conduct detailed assessments of coastal processes and dynamics to inform project design and planning.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Coastal Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in coastal engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in using engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, and GIS applications.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in numerical modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes related to coastal projects.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Coastal Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with coastal restoration projects and habitat enhancement initiatives.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green infrastructure solutions.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Experience with community engagement and public consultation processes.
Skills & tools
