Your work will not only influence how infrastructure resources are planned and managed but also solidify Anaplan's commitment to providing clarity and structured decision support to its clients.
What you'll do
- Create, manage, and optimize Power BI dashboards to monitor real-time infrastructure usage, capacity thresholds, and key performance metrics, ensuring visibility into critical operational areas.
- Aggregate and integrate data from a multitude of technical sources to establish a unified, centralized capacity data repository that serves as the single source of truth for analysis.
- Leverage historical data trends and statistical techniques to predict future resource needs, identify potential capacity constraints, and proactively address issues before they impact operations.
- Develop clear, concise, and visually compelling reports and visualizations that translate complex infrastructure metrics into understandable narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data models within Anaplan's platform to support highly accurate capacity forecasting and what-if scenario analysis, enabling strategic planning.
- Implement rigorous data validation and quality checks to ensure the integrity, consistency, and reliability of all capacity information and derived insights.
- Translate highly technical infrastructure metrics and performance data into business-friendly language, ensuring stakeholders across the organization can understand and act on the findings.
- Support the development, automation, and enhancement of data refresh processes and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and ensure the accuracy of ongoing analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the data analysis lifecycle, from data extraction to insight delivery, to streamline workflows and maximize impact.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including infrastructure and engineering teams, to gather nuanced requirements, define analytical priorities, and ensure solutions address core business challenges.
- Investigate anomalies, outliers, and unexpected patterns in data, conducting root cause analysis to provide clear explanations and support corrective actions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all data structures, DAX calculations, data models, and reporting logic to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and ease of knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in data analytics, specifically utilizing DAX, or in equivalent roles such as Power BI Developer or Business Intelligence Analyst, with a demonstrated preference for experience within a SaaS environment.

- Demonstrated proficiency in data visualization tools and platforms, with a particular expertise in Power BI, to design and build high-impact, interactive dashboards and detailed reports that drive action.
- Concrete, practical experience in capacity planning methodologies and performance monitoring practices within dynamic cloud infrastructure (such as AWS, Azure) or complex on-premises environments.
- A proven track record of successfully managing, processing, and analyzing large, complex datasets to uncover insights and inform strategic decisions.
- Solid, in-depth understanding of data modeling principles, architectures, and their practical application in developing sophisticated business intelligence and planning solutions.
- The ability to operate with a high degree of independence, effectively managing multiple analytical priorities, deadlines, and competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a rigorous approach to ensuring data accuracy, validation, and the unwavering reliability of all reports and dashboards produced.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to a diverse audience of stakeholders.
- A demonstrable willingness to rapidly learn, adopt, and utilize new data tools, technologies, and methodologies as required by the evolving needs of the infrastructure planning function.
- A foundational understanding of the principles underlying infrastructure monitoring and operational health is considered a significant advantage.
