About the role
You will own the end to end execution of complex operational and strategic initiatives that move the business forward. This role requires you to think like an owner and act with the urgency of a founder while maintaining the rigor of a seasoned analyst. You will be responsible for analyzing core business drivers and translating ambiguous problems into clear, actionable plans that deliver measurable results. A significant part of your contribution will involve leveraging cutting edge AI capabilities to design, test, and scale new ways of working across the organization. You will partner closely with the leadership team to ensure that every project you touch advances the company strategy and moves the needle on key financial and operational outcomes.

What you'll do
- Lead cross functional workstreams to execute high impact projects that drive scalable operational improvements.
- Partner with stakeholders to dissect complex business issues, construct analytical models, and formulate data backed recommendations.
- Utilize advanced AI tools and automation platforms such as Claude Code, Cursor, and custom built MCPs to accelerate delivery and reduce manual effort.
- Synthesize large volumes of information into concise reports and interactive dashboards that communicate insights to executive audiences.
- Act as a critical support pillar for the leadership team by owning the end to end management of strategic and operational initiatives.
- Analyze payment flows and transaction data to uncover inefficiencies, reduce costs, and strengthen risk management across the business.
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to solve complex problems and identify opportunities to enhance their workflows.
- Map and optimize end to end processes, removing bottlenecks by introducing thoughtful automations and policy changes.
- Translate ambiguous requests from internal teams into structured work plans with clear milestones, owners, and success metrics.
- Contribute to the development of financial models and scenario analyses that inform pricing, product, and go to market decisions.
- Ensure consistent governance across payment operations by monitoring key metrics and implementing controls that mitigate risk.
- Drive adoption of new tools and methodologies by documenting playbooks and coaching cross functional partners.
- Maintain a relentless focus on quality, ensuring that all analyses, reports, and deliverables are accurate and actionable.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and propose solutions that align with the long term vision of the platform.
Requirements
- Bring 2 to 5 years of professional experience within investment banking, private equity, or financial services.
- Demonstrate superior analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills in every project you touch.
- Show an intermediate understanding of AI, prompting, and key use cases, with a documented affinity to learn about deeper integration into daily workflows.
- Thrive in ambiguous, fast paced environments where timelines are tight and unpredictable, consistently producing accurate, high quality results.
- Operate with a high sense of urgency, a bias for action, and an uncompromising work ethic.
- Pay rigorous attention to detail, ensuring that outputs are precise, well structured, and thoroughly validated.
- Comfortably handle multiple competing priorities and projects while managing your time and stakeholders effectively.
- Work independently with a proactive mindset, taking initiative to identify problems and drive solutions forward.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, adapting your style for executives, engineers, and cross functional partners.

- Collaborate effectively in a cross functional setting, aligning with peers from product, finance, and operations to achieve shared objectives.
Nice to have
- Experience working at a high growth startup in the fintech space.
- At least 2 years of experience working in investment banking.
- Experience leveraging Claude Code or similar AI applications in production environments.
- Formal computer science coursework or training at some point in your career.
Practical notes
This is a hybrid role requiring candidates to be in our New York office 4x per week.
