You will own the end-to-end operational health of the transcription production pipeline for the Americas, ensuring that every transcript that leaves our platform meets exacting benchmarks. This position demands a high-energy operator who can translate complex workflow issues into clear actions and drive them to completion without constant supervision. You will act as the primary liaison between our technology, our distributed workforce, and our client service teams to maintain seamless execution. Success in this role means you are equally comfortable managing minute details and the broader strategic metrics that define our service quality. You will be accountable for the integrity of the production process from intake to delivery, safeguarding both our reputation for accuracy and our speed to market. Your daily decisions will directly influence client trust and the reliability of insights that professionals use for billion-dollar choices.

What you'll do
- Oversee the end-to-end transcription production queue for the Americas, triaging unclaimed tasks and dynamically reallocating capacity to meet stringent turnaround time targets.
- Independently diagnose and resolve operational exceptions in the transcription workflow, escalating only when internal cross-functional collaboration is required to achieve a solution.
- Analyze regional performance data to identify trends, implement corrective actions, and own the KPIs that define productivity, quality, and engagement for your distributed unit.
- Act as the primary contact for Client Service Teams, answering detailed queries about order status, quality metrics, and production constraints with clarity and precision.
- Monitor real-time throughput and accuracy rates, intervening proactively when thresholds are at risk to maintain industry-leading service levels.
- Coordinate with the distributed workforce to optimize scheduling, coverage, and task alignment, ensuring consistent output even during peak demand periods.
- Maintain strict adherence to compliance and quality standards across all transcripts, reinforcing protocols that protect client confidentiality and data integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by documenting bottlenecks, testing process adjustments, and scaling changes that enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Partner with product and engineering stakeholders to provide frontline feedback that shapes the future roadmap of the transcription service.
- Own the balance between speed and accuracy, making decisions that protect our 99%+ accuracy promise while honoring aggressive delivery commitments.
- Forecast future capacity needs based on historical trends and upcoming client demand, presenting actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on transcription operations, creating internal resources and playbooks that elevate the overall capability of the team.
- Champion best practices in workflow management, ensuring that every member of your regional unit understands and adricon to standards.
- Represent AlphaSights in external forums and internal councils where operational excellence and customer experience are discussed and defined.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in any field, accompanied by noteworthy extracurricular leadership that demonstrates impact.
- No prior full-time work experience is required; however, relevant internships and other evidence of interest or experience working in operations within a service or business context are highly desirable.
- Maintain a track record of strong academic performance, evidenced by a minimum GPA of 3.5, reflecting discipline and intellectual rigor.
- Demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English, as this role serves as the primary communication bridge between global stakeholders and regional teams.
- Exhibit a bias for action, showing comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make timely decisions when processes are incomplete or evolving.
- Bring meticulous attention to detail to every task, ensuring outputs are accurate, consistent, and aligned with established quality frameworks.
