About the Associate Program
Joining the AlphaSights Associate Program means entering a dynamic environment designed for ambitious graduates seeking immediate responsibility and a structured professional trajectory. We connect leading investment funds, strategy consultancies, and Fortune 500 companies with specialized experts worldwide, enabling critical decisions based on deep domain insight. Established in 2008, the firm has grown rapidly to over 1,500 professionals across nine global cities, securing its position as a market leader and one of the fastest-growing companies globally. The program specifically targets high-caliber graduates capable of thriving in demanding, fast-moving commercial settings.
This role places you at the heart of client operations as an Associate within the Client Service team. You will serve as the primary connector between clients and the niche expertise they require. Your daily activities will center on managing multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously. You will engage directly with senior stakeholders at top-tier organizations to understand their strategic questions and identify the precise knowledge needed. Success requires excellent communication abilities, comfort with tight deadlines, and the capacity to switch contexts efficiently across diverse subject matters.
Your Core Responsibilities
Your central mission involves end-to-end ownership of client projects from initiation to delivery. A primary duty is proactively recruiting and securing access to highly relevant experts whose insights directly address client needs. This often involves significant phone-based outreach under strict time constraints. You must rapidly assimilate detailed project parameters and the broader market landscape. This includes understanding relevant legal and regulatory frameworks affecting both the client and the expert community.
You will maintain comprehensive control over project logistics. This encompasses scheduling and coordinating conversations between clients and experts to ensure productive exchanges. A critical part of your role involves quality assurance, where you rigorously review outputs to guarantee accuracy and coherence prior to client delivery. You will ensure all project milestones are met punctually, aligning with firm standards and specific client expectations. Collaboration with internal specialists may be required to enhance and broaden the service portfolio offered. You are also entrusted with safeguarding all sensitive client and expert information throughout every engagement.
Tangible Outcomes of Program Completion
Completing the Associate Program delivers significant professional acceleration. You will gain a comprehensive introduction to the corporate world without early confinement to a single industry vertical. The role develops highly transferable commercial competencies, including advanced professional communication, negotiation, persuasion, and rigorous project and time management. Associates receive structured exposure to diverse sectors, building robust business intuition.
Clear advancement pathways exist for high performers. Successful associates can progress to a Manager role typically within 24 to 30 months, with further advancement to Vice President achievable after approximately five years. The firm recognizes outstanding potential through its MBA Tuition Program. Graduates who meet program criteria may receive financial assistance toward executive MBA studies at leading global business schools.
Requirements for Success
The role demands consistent high performance and intellectual curiosity. You must possess strong undergraduate academic credentials, ideally a 2:1 degree or higher. A record of noteworthy extracurricular involvement throughout your education is essential. Relevant internship experience in a commercial or advisory capacity is required.
Language proficiency is non-negotiable. You must demonstrate fluent English and Korean at a C2 level. Additional foreign language capabilities are considered advantageous. You thrive in environments requiring adaptability, meticulous organization, and the simultaneous management of competing priorities.
Compensation and Benefits
Your first-year total compensation is designed to reflect performance, ranging from HKD 436,500 to HKD 550,600. This package consists of a fixed annual base salary of HKD 312,000, complemented by uncapped variable compensation tied to individual and team performance. You are entitled to 15 days of annual leave, with an additional day granted for each year of service, up to a maximum of 20 days. The policy includes six months of full maternity leave and six weeks of full paternity leave.
